Emma Prax-Lodge was awarded the Frontline Spotlight Award from Regional Center of Orange County at the Spotlight Award Dinner Dance on Friday March 25th. The Frontline Award is given to someone who improves the lives of developmentally disabled individuals in Orange County. Emma received her award for her work as a Program Supervisor within the Coyne & Associates' Early Intervention Program for children with Autism.
Recently Emma worked with a family whose child had severe feeding issues. The toddler was on a feeding tube because he was not eating enough food or drinking enough fluids to develop and maintain weight. Emma was responsible for the design and implementation of a feeding program. As a result, the child is currently eating 3 meals a day plus two snacks without a feeding tube.
The staff at Coyne congratulate Emma on her well deserved award.
